If you have a desire to make improvements to your community then make sure to attend The Baltimore Wake Up on Saturday, October 13th. This is a perfect opportunity to collaborate with others to make a difference in Baltimore communities.
The Baltimore Wake Up will be hosted by the cast from hit TV show The Wire, R&B singer Mario, and community-based organizations. They are there to offer their support for the goals and action items identified by community members during the event. Participants will leave the day with a project to conduct on their own time, with some advisory support from the Baltimore Wake Up team.
This project is meant to spark real change in the community by providing technical assistance and short-term support. At the end of the day, the project leaders will have worked with you and your working group to create a blueprint to achieve whatever goals may have set, and you will leave with a plan of action.
