Bmore Historic 2012, an “unconference” or participant-led meeting, will occur in October to discuss the city’s public history, historic preservation and community development. This event is organized through a collaboration between Baltimore Heritage, the Greater Baltimore History Alliance, and several other organizations who support community improvement through historic preservation.
Last December, at Bmore Historic 2011, there were over 100 humanities scholars, local historians, preservation advocates, museum professionals and archivists. This year, there is an even larger attendance anticipated.
The event will be held:
Friday, October 12th
8:30 am to 3:30 pm
Maryland Historical Society
201 West Monument Street
Baltimore, MD 21201
There is a $15 registration fee to cover the cost of refreshments. Registration is handled on a first-come, first-served basis so all those interested are encouraged to sign up sooner rather than later.
