TreeBaltimore, the mayoral initiative and umbrella group that seeks to preserve, establish, and manage trees in Baltimore City in order to “increase the urban tree canopy,” is holding its annual meeting on November 14th, after having to reschedule due to Hurricane Sandy. The annual meeting is not just for insiders, but rather will have something for just about anyone interested in trees in Baltimore: find out how your community can get involved, share what has worked in your neighborhood, see what cities of comparable size and environment have done for their tree canopies, and more.
The TreeBaltimore Annual Meeting will be held:
Wednesday, November 14th
9am-11am
Vollmer Center, Cylburn Abroretum, 4915 Greenspring Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21209
When you RSVP to Charles Murphy at Charles.murphy@baltimorecity.gov, you’ll receive a full agenda for the evening. Don’t miss a chance to learn a lot about this great Baltimore resource in person.
