2013 Charm City Farm and Garden Tour

The creativity of Baltimore’s farmers and gardeners will be on full display on Sunday, August 18th at this year’s Charm City Farm and Garden Tour. The event is being coordinated by UMD Extenstion, Parks and People FoundationBaltimore Recreation and Parks, and Baltimore Green Space.

There are two bike tour options  ($15/person) or a bus tour ($20/person) for citizens interested in attending the event this year. These tours will take you through the Eastside Baltimore City Community Gardens and City Farms.

The Bike Tour
Patterson Park
Parking: If you’re able we encourage you to bike over or carpool. However, we do have parking passes for 30 people.

The Bus Tour

Parking: Cylburn has parking lots where you can park.

*Important Notice: Seats are limited on the bus so make your reservations today. We apologize but we are unable to hold your seat on the bus without cash or check payment.
Following the tours there will be a celebratory picnic at the Vollmer Center with family fun games, arts, music, and Produce Judging for all gardens participating in this event. All attendees are asked to provide a dish that will serve 5-6 others and multiple dishes if you are coming as a large group. $5.00 donations are from adults not in the Bike or Bus tours will also be accepted. Children under the age of 12 are granted free admission.
Please note that the picnic is for City Farms, Community Gardens and all those that participate in the morning’s tours.
