CPHA Holds Forum on Economic Development

On Tuesday, April 19 CPHA held a forum on Tax Increment Financing (TIFs). Our diverse panel of community, business, and nonprofit leaders explained to the audience, what a TIF is, where they have been used in the City, and when it is appropriate to use them. As the debate over the TIF at Port Covington continues, we expect there to be a lot of heated rhetoric from both sides of this issue. CPHA was honored to lead a nuanced discussion on this important topic.
