Attend Hearings on New Baltimore County Charter

The Baltimore County Charter serves as a blueprint for how Baltimore County government functions. It has not gone through any significant review since 1989. Yet Baltimore County has changed a lot since then. As a result the County will be holding a number of public hearings on what improvements residents would like to see in the charter. One possibility includes the addition of two seats to the County Council as was recommended by a Baltimore Sun editorial on segregation in Baltimore County Public Schools.

Two upcoming meetings will be held at the following times and locations:

Wednesday, April 5
Perry Hall Library
9685 Honeygo Blvd
Perry Hall, MD 21128

Wednesday, April 19
Arbutus Library
855 Sulphur Spring Rd
Arbutus, MD 21227
