Spring cleaning is most often associated with cleaning up junk drawers and dirty attics. But for communities across Baltimore, it’s also an opportunity for neighbors to join together in beautifying our communities. Now in its 18th year, The Mayor’s Spring Cleanup is an annual event held by neighborhood associations throughout the city, where community members get down and dirty and clean up their neighborhoods.
To participate in the Mayor’s Spring Cleanup, we encourage you to contact your community association to see if your neighborhood is signed up to participate. If your community isn’t already participating, call 311 to sign up. By participating in the Mayor’s Spring Cleanup you won’t just be helping to improve your neighborhood, participants may also be eligible for a discount on their stormwater cleaning fee.
