- Bringing together people and neighborhoods to create innovative solutions to challenging, community-wide problems
- Empowering citizens with information and skills for advocacy and organizing, and
- Championing solutions through legislative and policy reforms.
What We Do
Community Association Support and Leadership Training
CPHA cultivates direct relationships with community associations in order to provide the technical support and leadership training necessary to build strong neighborhoods.
Policy Research and Legislative Pressure
CPHA researches public policy solutions to regional problems and supports coalitions fighting for legislation to improve housing, transit, and neighborhoods in Baltimore.
Raising Awareness and Encouraging Civic Engagement
CPHA updates citizens and community organizations about the decisions of state and local government in order to inform individuals and promote active citizenry.
Building Networks and Coalitions
CPHA facilitates the creation of coalitions to win policy objectives and confront shared challenges.
Organizing Citizen Outreach
CPHA organizes citizens for targeted community improvement and civic information gathering efforts.
