CPHA Home
In the early 2000's, CPHA's intensive work with communities on crime and drugs identified the expansion of the drug treatment system as an essential regional priority. CPHA has been a passionate voice for increased funding for drug treatment. Since CPHA's Campaign for Regional Solutions began, the drug treatment system in Maryland has more than doubled.
The Baltimore Area Association for Supportive Housing (BAASH)
In May 2005, CPHA's drug treatment staff began convening a group of supportive housing providers to discuss issues pertinent to operating a supportive housing program in Baltimore City. Meeting on a monthly basis, the number of providers joining the supportive housing coalition meetings continued to grow. In November 2005, the group voted to formally organize as a dues paying, member driven professional association under the banner of the Baltimore Area Association for Supportive Housing (BAASH).
Since the formation of BAASH, CPHA no longer provides support in the area of drug treatment.
