The Opportunity Collaborative is a consortium of organizations from throughout the greater Baltimore area which is connecting housing, transportation, and workforce plans through a Regional Plan for Sustainable Development (RPSD). Funded by a HUD Sustainable Communities Grant, the Collaborative includes local governments, state agencies, universities, businesses, non-profits, and others who are working together to take full advantage of our region’s potential in all three of these areas, and to address the challenges that we face in doing so. By working across our different jurisdictions and different areas of focus, we can plan for a future with good housing in strong neighborhoods, a reliable and effective transportation system, and a workforce that is ready for good jobs – and protect our Bay and our other valuable natural resources as we accomplish these goals.
CPHA worked with partners across greater Baltimore to involve community and neighborhood groups in the development of the RPSD. You can read more about the community engagement process here:
